Family Dinner Look

This look is from last night’s dinner with my family. I love this beachy, straw clutch I got at my favorite boutique down here on St. John, USVI called Lulee. I love visiting their shops located at Mongoose Junction and The Westin every time I come to visit this island! I usually ask Logan to leave room in his suitcase for me on the flight down because I know I will always find something I love 🙂 This clutch is the perfect accessory to make any outfit perfect for a beach vibe. It also fits so much… I have my mask, keys, cash, Advil, lip gloss and still have so much room to squeeze anything else I may need! I actually had my eye on this clutch before my arrival thanks to Lulee’s insta post. You can shop their boutique online and they will even ship products anywhere in the states. Definitely worth following their shop on insta: @luleestj.

Next, I want to spotlight my shoes from Alohas. These shoes are amazing! The leather is top quality and the thick straps make for the comfiest heel I have ever tried on & I love the unique look of the square toe. I’d say these shoes run true-to-size (I am wearing a 38 and I normally wear a US 6 or sometimes 6.5). Alohas are known for their sustainable shopping experience because their shoes are made “on demand”. This means your shoes may not be made until you order them to allow for less product waste and environmental impact caused by overproduction. They ship to you from Spain so allow for a month or two for your new favorite heels to arrive at your doorstep. These shoes are without a doubt worth the wait, and I am already eyeing my next pair!

My satin midi dress is from Zara. I got this in Miami, FL last month on my Florida road trip with Logan (I will write a whole post about this adventure and traveling with a dog). If you can’t tell, shopping when I travel is one of my favorite things to do because I am able to find unique clothing pieces that no one else has in Cincinnati (@Zara pls give us a Cincy shop!!). I sized down and am wearing an XS. I love how chic a slip midi can look and how it can be styled with heels, platforms or sneakers depending on the vibe you’re going for. This dress is definitely not the only slip midi that is a staple in my closet! I could not find the Zara link for this exact dress, so I linked a similar from Zara and another one of my faves from Danielle Bernstein’s Macy’s collection as well!

My chain necklace is from Aureum Collective – as I mentioned in my last post I wear these chains with just about everything! Last night I chose to layer my chain with a very special coin necklace I received from Logan. For my last birthday he ordered me a limited edition food coin from the French mint, and had it made into a custom necklace. It has so much meaning and is one of a kind which I am obsessed with!
